Today, many people believe that there
are Good Witches and Bad Witches. This is not the case and we will attempt
to explain why. Please read this page to the end.
First, what is a Witch? The
Merriam-Webster Dictionary describes a Witch as: "a person believed to have
magic power." This leads to the question of how do Witches receive the power to perform
magick or some kind of
supernatural event? Whether it is to heal or to cause pain, to see into the future
or control events. These Witches are not able to do it by themselves.
They must
call on a power that is greater then they are. This is where the problem
lies. Who do you suppose they look to for the power to perform these
miracles? They may tell you that they are turning to the power in a tree
called "dess" but were does the tree or "dess" get it's power? Is the power from God who made the
tree? No...They can not be turning to
God's power because the Bible clearly states:

"There shall not be found among you anyone who
makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one
who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets
omens, or a sorcerer, 11"or one who conjures spells, or a medium,
or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12"For all who do
these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these
abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.
(Deuteronomy 18:10-12)
A well
known Satanist once said that "there was no difference between White and Dark
Witches. Their power comes from the same place and that is Satan."
(Please note that
we are not saying that
Witches are Satanists. We quote a Satanist
since who better to know the ways of Satan then someone who has taken his
name.)
Have you heard of "the Rede?" If
so it may sound like a good way to
live but is it God's way?
"An harm ye none, do what ye will."
The first half of this creed is
certainly good but the second half is in opposition to God's will. It
places you and your will ahead of God. Jesus said..."You shall love the
Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your
mind." (Matthew 22:37)
Have you been dabbling with
Witchcraft or Astrology? Trying to learn some spells or using tarot
cards just because it seemed like fun? Have you been turning to these
people to help you through some difficult time?
It is a trap! You know that
Satan is evil and will use these things to control you. He has no love
for you like the love that God who created you has. Jesus tells us:
No one is good but One, that is,
God. (Luke 18:19b)
Satan is known as the father of lies
and he is lying to you if you believe that Witchcraft is just for fun or there
is no harm in turning to Astrology for answers. God wants you to turn to
Him. He loves you so much that He gave His only Son to die on a roman
cross for you! I invite you to learn why Jesus did this for you and
about His Truth.
